  With our family we visited for a few days in June and enjoyed both the Barn and the Sussex countryside. We were greeted by one of the joint owners Wendy who looked after us well. The internal accommodation was as described although it best suits two couples as the kitchen/dining is small (even for 4 + 2) and the + 2 sleeping option would be far from idea particularly in one of the bedrooms. Beware of opening windows at floor level on the bedroom level particularly if you have young children in your party
  The description of the externals we found wholly inaccurate and this has been communicated with photos to English County Cottages. There was no "farm" no pond
  (totally overgrown with grasses) and the water mill consisted of a derelict building.
  The trailer load of scrap metal left by the entrance and "Steptoe's Yard" at the far end of the paddock also did little to enhance things externally.
  We would however re visit the Barn if the rates charged were reduced to reflect these shortcomings.
